The First “Human Rights TV Channel” is launched in London

It will deliver Human Rights issues to the audiences over 20 countries in the world

• The world’s first television channel dedicated to human rights was launched in International Observatory of Human Rights Anniversary held in London with a promise to deliver hidden stories ignored by mainstream media to the people of 20 countries across the world.
• The International Observatory of Human Rights (IOHR) mentioned that it is a web-based channel would bring human rights issues to audiences in over 20 countries across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

Aim of the Human Rights TV Channel

• The Human Rights Channel aims to provide concealed stories dismissed by mainstream media into people’s dwelling rooms.
•  The Channel would concentration on difficulties like refugees, press independence and the incarceration of journalists, extremism, women’s rights, LGBT+ problems and the plight of the world’s stateless persons.
• IOHR (International Observatory of Human Rights) will announce its recent partnership with Netgem.TV and the broadcast of its human rights channel which will reach subscribed viewers in twenty countries on four continents across Europe, Australia, Latin America and the Middle East. This model of advocacy and partnership will also allow IOHRTV to reach viewers across multi-platforms including TV, online and mobile.
• The basic program language is English but IOHR eventually hopes to broadcast in other languages including Farsi, Turkish, Arabic and Russian.

What is International Observatory of Human Rights?
