According to a report published in ‘The Hindu’, the Virasat-e-Khalsa museum in Punjab’s Anandpur Sahib town will find a place in the Asia Book of Records for becoming the most visited museum in the Indian sub-continent on a single day. As per the newspaper, the museum had witnessed a record footfall of 20,569 visitors on a single day on March 20, becoming the most visited museum in the Indian sub-continent on a single day. It was built to commemorate the rich history and culture of Punjab and Sikhism and was inaugurated in November 2011. So far over 10 million visitors have visited the museum in just 8 years of its inauguration. Virasat-e-Khalsa has already made it to Limca Book of Records in the February 2019 edition and India Book of Records. So, with its name in the Asia Book of Records, it would be the third entry for the museum in record books. The Limca Book of Records and India Book of Records had listed ‘Virasat-e-Khalsa’ as the country’s top-ranked museum in terms of the number of visitors.

The Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Arjun Ram Meghwal on August 9, 2019 inaugurated the 3rd International Electric Vehicle (EV) Conclave at the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) in Manesar, Gurugram.

American carrier rocket Falcon 9 lifts off successfully the Israeli AMOS-17 communication satellite into the orbit. The rocket was launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
