NITI Aayog will launch the second edition of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) India Index. The SDG India Index, whose first edition was launched in December 2018.It was the first tool developed by any large country to monitor the progress towards achieving SDGs at the sub-national level.

Aspirant: 0 – 49
Good performance: 50 – 64
Leading: 65 – 99
Target Recipients: 100
Aspiring : Assam, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh
Good performance : Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Groups, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi and Lakshadweep
Leading : Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh and Puducherry
