Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga honored with his ‘Player of the Month’ award
The ICC (International Cricket Council) honored Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga with their ‘Player of the Month’ award in June.
Wanindu Hasaranga received the prestigious accolade for his remarkable achievements during the World Cup qualifier matches held in Zimbabwe.
Pinadwege Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva (born 29 July 1997), known mononymously as Wanindu Hasaranga, is an international cricketer who plays for the Sri Lankan cricket team in white-ball cricket as a bowling all-rounder.
He is a right arm leg spinner. Considered one of the best bowlers in the world in white-ball cricket, Hasaranga made his international debut for Sri Lanka in July 2017.
