Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the regional office of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited-HAL in Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia.
The Defense Ministry said that this regional office will promote defense industrial cooperation between India and Malaysia. This office will serve as the hub for HAL’s partnership with the South-East Asian region.
Malaysia is a tropical country located in Southeast Asia. It is divided into two parts by the Malay Sea. Located on the Malay Sagaray Peninsula, the mainland has the Strait of Malacca on its west coast and the Malay Sea on its east coast.
The other part of the country, sometimes referred to as East Malaysia, is located on the northern part of the island of Borneo in the South China Sea.
The country’s capital is Kuala Lumpur on the Malay Peninsula, but recently the federal capital has been moved to the new city of Putrajaya, specially built for administration. It is a federal state made up of 13 states.
