Haryana’s Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala told in the GST Day-2023 program organized on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the implementation of Goods and Service Tax (GST) in Gurugram district of the state that in order to encourage taxpayers, in five states of the country including Haryana ‘ ‘My Bill-My Right Scheme’ has been launched.
Under this scheme, the consumers will have to take the bill at the time of purchase and upload the bill on the portal. After that, prizes worth Rs 30 crore will be given to the consumers through the draw of lots from the corpus fund.
With the ‘Mera Bill-Mera Adhikar Yojana’, consumers will develop a tendency to ask for the bill from the seller while purchasing goods. Also, a strong feeling will also develop between consumer to government.
This scheme has proved to be an excellent system in simplifying the country’s tax system and ending the Inspector Raj.
Due to this, the tax burden on the citizens has been reduced and the facilities of the industrial world have also increased due to the simple system. In the coming days, this system will be further improved with the help of the officials, industry representatives and consumers.
