The third and final meeting of the G20 Disaster Risk Reduction Working Group under the chairmanship of India was held in Chennai. This meeting took place in Chennai from 24 to 26 July.
Addressing the opening session, India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said that the final meeting of the working group reflects the collective spirit of unity and cooperation of the G20 countries.
The Group of Twenty Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors is an organization of finance ministers and central bank governors from 20 of the world’s major economies, including 19 countries and the European Union.
It is represented by the President of the European Council and the European Central Bank.
