  • Indian High Commission in Pakistan appointed Geetika Srivastava as in-charge.
  • 2005 batch IFS officer Geetika Srivastava will be the new in-charge of India at the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. She will replace Suresh Kumar.
  • Geetika Srivastava is currently working as Joint Secretary at the Headquarters of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). They are in the Indo Pacific Division. He learned Mandarin (Chinese language) during foreign language training.
  • She was posted in the Indian Embassy in China from 2007 to 2009. She has also served as Director of the Regional Passport Office in Kolkata and the Indian Ocean Region Division in the Ministry of External Affairs.
