On September 25, Karma Puja was celebrated in Jharkhand, which is one of the most popular festivals related to harvest, worship of nature, bond between brother and sister, and homage to the Karam tree.
During the festival, Karama dancers carry the branch of the Karam tree with singing and dancing.
The branch of the Karam tree decorated with milk and rice beer is placed in the middle of the place where the group dances.
On the second day, Karam Dev is uprooted and taken around all the houses of the village and immersed as per rituals.
