- 6th conclave of Indian Coast Guard Subordinate Officers was organised in New Delhi.
- The conclave was organised on October 26 & 27, 2023. Its theme was ‘Towards an Inclusive Approach’.
- During the conclave, MoUs were signed to enhance welfare measures for the personnel of the Coast Guard.
- Subordinate officers from various Coast Guard units across the country participated in the conclave.
- Indian Coast Guard Director General Rakesh Pal inaugurated the two-day conclave.
- Indian Coast Guard was established on 1 February 1977. It operates under the Ministry of Defence.
- It is the maritime law enforcement agency of India. It is also a search and rescue agency.
