- He said that knowledge and innovation are the two important aspects that will help in making India the third-largest economy in the world.
- India has the highest number of students getting bachelor’s degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects.
- Boys (85 per cent) are more willing to pursue a career in the field of STEM as compared to girls (57 per cent).
- 95 per cent of children in India have males as their role models in the STEM field.
