Following are the amendments

• To increase the areas of animal fodder cultivation, the State Government will also be given assistance for animal fodder cultivation in non-forest land, barren land/pastures/non-cultivable land.
• Livestock insurance program has been simplified. The beneficiary share of premium for farmers has been reduced to 15 per cent as against the existing beneficiary share of 20 per cent, 30 per cent, 40 per cent and 50 per cent.
