4th Mekong-Ganga Dhamma Yatra started in New Delhi

4th Mekong-Ganga Dhamma Yatra started in New Delhi.
The 4th Mekong Ganga Dhammayatra brought more than 20 Buddhist experts, retired civil servants, and distinguished Thailand residents to Delhi.
The purpose of the 4th Mekong Ganga Dhammayatra is to deepen the ties that bind the Mekong and Ganga civilisations together.
Dr. Supachai Viraphuchong, Secretary-General of the Bodhgaya Institute 980, is in charge of the Dhammayatra.
Thailand and India are partners in the Dhammayatra.
In order to proclaim the Century of Dharma, it supports collaboration across all spheres, including the private, and public sectors.
The Yatra’s aim is to spread the Dhamma’s timeless teachings on avoiding conflict and being environmentally conscious throughout the world.
BodhiGaya Vijjalaya 980 is organising the event in association with other organisations from Thailand and India.
The 97th anniversary of the late Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birth is being commemorated with the 4th Dhamma Yatra.
