India’s first AI university will be established in Maharashtra.
The country’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) university is set to be established in Maharashtra, and a task force has been formed to plan and implement the project.
The Principal Secretary, Department of Information Technology, will chair the task force.
Research and development in AI and related fields will be promoted by the university, which will also be a center of excellence, encouraging collaboration between the industry, academia, and government.
The university will promote research and development in AI, focusing on skill development, technological innovation, and policy formulation to establish Maharashtra as a hub for AI education and innovation.
The initiative is in line with the BJP’s election manifesto, which highlighted the use of technology for development.
