Union Ministry of Defence has announced the winners of the best Marching Contingents and Tableaux of the Republic Day Parade 2025. The Uttar Pradesh Tableaux, which showcased the grandeur of the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, was adjudged the best amongst the State and the Union Territories category. Republic Day functions are organised by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, in which there is an impressive march past by the Armed Forces/Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) and the other police forces. There is also a display of the vibrant culture, and traditions of India and its history depicted through Tableaux.15 States/Union Territories and 10 Ministries/departments of central governments displayed their tableaux at the Kartavya Path in New Delhi on 26 January 2025.Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was the Chief Guest at the 76th Republic Day celebration.

- Like previous years, there were two categories of awards. A three-judge panel selected the winners for best Marching Contingent and Tableaux in the Official category.
- Another category was the Popular Choice category. Citizens of India voted on the MyGov portal from 26-28 January 2025, to pick their favourite Marching Contingent and best Tableaux.

- 3rd Position- Andhra Pradesh with a theme of ‘Etikoppaka Bommalu – Eco-Friendly Wooden Toys’.

- Ministry of Tribal Affairs with a theme of Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh.
Special Prize
- Central Public Works Department with a theme of ‘75 years of Constitution of India’.
