Model Women-Friendly Gram Panchayats were launched on 5 March 2025.
Model Women-Friendly Gram Panchayats were launched under International Women’s Day 2025 celebrations of Ministry.
The initiative aims to set up at least one Model Women-Friendly Gram Panchayat in each district.
The initiative will be a beacon for gender-sensitive and girl-friendly governance practices.
The launch event was attended by Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel and others.
