India’s Union Home Minister and Cooperation Minister, Amit Shah inaugurated an important initiative named ‘Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar’ (MGMD). The project has been launched by the Ministry of Culture and aims to do a cultural mapping of 6.5 lakh villages of India across all states and union territories.
