Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar teamed up with compound archer Avneet Kaur Sangampreet Singh Bisla and the men’s 10m air rifle team to win the gold medal at the FISU World University Games 2023 in Chengdu, China.
With these achievements, India’s medal tally at the FISU World University Games 2023 has reached 17 medals – nine gold, three silver and five bronze. India is currently fourth in the medals tally behind China, Japan and Republic of Korea.
The Indian team celebrated the exceptional performance of shooter Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, who won not one but two gold medals during the competition.
After winning the Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions event, Aishwarya continued her fine form to claim the top spot in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle team event.
