- Leading Indian media conglomerate Zee Enterprises will create history by launching ‘Zee Zonke’, South Africa’s first entertainment TV channel in Isizulu language on 28 August 2023.
- Isizulu is the most widely spoken of the 12 official languages of South Africa. The channel is expected to help improve India-South Africa bilateral relations as well as India-Zulu relations.
