The eagerly awaited Ninth India Region Conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association took place in the historic city of Udaipur, located in the state of Rajasthan.
The two-day program was inaugurated by eminent Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
With the main objective of exploring the topic Enhancing Democracy and Effective Governance in the Digital Era, the conference aims to facilitate insightful discussions and exchange of ideas among its participants.
The event saw the presence of eminent personalities from political and parliamentary field.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker CP Joshi and CPA President Ian Liddell-Granger among others graced the occasion with their presence.
