  • The United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) functions as a development finance institution and agency under the United States federal government.
  • Its main focus is investing in development projects, with a primary emphasis on lower and middle-income countries. It was first authorized on 5 October 2018, and officially became an independent agency on 20 December 2019.
