- The Asian Games bronze medalist teamed up with Russia’s Anastasia Tikhonova to beat France’s Estelle Cassino and Latvia’s Diana Marcinkevica in the final.
- This is the second title of the year and 26th overall for Prarthana. Prarthana had won a bronze medal in Incheon in 2014 along with Sania Mirza.
