  • Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled the state’s longest flyover, the 2.63-km-long Nilachal Flyover, which connects Maligaon Chariali to Kamakhya Gate in Guwahati.
  • Built at a cost of ₹420.75 crore, the project was completed within 35 months by Shree Gautam Construction Company Limited and Anupam Construction Private Limited.
  • The flyover addresses traffic congestion in Guwahati and aims to provide smooth commuting facilities for the residents of the area.
  • The Nilachal Flyover is the longest flyover in Assam, spanning 2.63 kilometers and connecting Maligaon Chariyali to Kamakhya Gate in Guwahati.
  • Shree Gautam Construction Company Limited and Anupam Construction Private Limited were the two companies responsible for the construction of Neelachal Flyover.
