Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled the state’s longest flyover, the 2.63-km-long Nilachal Flyover, which connects Maligaon Chariali to Kamakhya Gate in Guwahati.
Built at a cost of ₹420.75 crore, the project was completed within 35 months by Shree Gautam Construction Company Limited and Anupam Construction Private Limited.
The flyover addresses traffic congestion in Guwahati and aims to provide smooth commuting facilities for the residents of the area.
The Nilachal Flyover is the longest flyover in Assam, spanning 2.63 kilometers and connecting Maligaon Chariyali to Kamakhya Gate in Guwahati.
Shree Gautam Construction Company Limited and Anupam Construction Private Limited were the two companies responsible for the construction of Neelachal Flyover.
