Kerala’s first public sector caravan park to come up at Bekal Fort. Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) has decided to develop a caravan park and shelter camp at Bekal Fort, located in Kasargod district of Kerala. Bekal Fort was built in 1650 AD by Shivappa Nayaka of Keladi dynasty.

It is known as the largest fort of Kerala.
