In FY23, 83,000 patents were filed in India, a growth of 24.6%.
As per a Patenting Trends report released by Nasscom, 83,000 patents were filed in India in FY23, the highest in the last two decades.
Between FY2019-FY2023, the number of patents filed has witnessed significant growth of over 2X.
