The National Health Authority launched the first ABDM microsite in Aizawl, Mizoram on August 23, 2023 under the 100 Microsites project.
The National Health Authority (NHA) on July 28, 2023 had announced the 100 Microsites project for rapid adoption of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) across the country.
Mizoram has become the first state in India to launch the ABDM microsite.
The objective of the project is to increase the awareness of ABDM among small and medium scale healthcare providers.
Under this, all health facilities including private clinics, small hospitals and laboratories in the region will be made ABDM-enabled and digital health services will be provided to patients.
The 100 Microsites project under ABDM is an important initiative to reach out to the small and medium scale healthcare providers in the private sector on a large scale.
The concept of microsites was envisaged to provide a boost to the healthcare digitization efforts across the country.
