¨   Border Roads Organisation (BRO) celebrated the 47th Raising Day of 'Project Chetak' in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

¨ On this occasion, the project's service spanning over four decades in the strategically sensitive western border regions was highlighted.

¨     The Ministry of Defence stated that this project was established in the year 1980.

¨    It has played a pivotal role in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure across Rajasthan, Punjab, and Northern Gujarat.

¨     The developed infrastructure has led to improved connectivity in the border areas.

¨  With the motto "Chetak ka Prayas, Desh ka Vikas," the project embodies a development-oriented mission.

¨    In terms of geographical expanse, 'Project Chetak' stands as one of the largest initiatives undertaken by the BRO.

¨  Under this project, a road network spanning over 4,000 kilometers has been constructed and maintained.
