International Women Judges Day  : 10 March

¨   International Women Judges Day, celebrated on March 10 every year, is dedicated to recognizing the significant contributions of women in the judiciary and advocating for gender equality in decision-making processes.

¨   This day promotes women's representation in judicial systems and strengthens equality globally. It was first celebrated in 2022.

¨     Objective: To ensure equal participation of women at all levels of the judiciary and to build a just and inclusive society.

¨     History: The United Nations General Assembly designated March 10 as this day through a resolution in 2021, supported by Qatar.

¨     Significance: The day highlights the contributions of women judges, breaks stereotypes and encourages the next generation of women legal professionals.
