female cheetah Jwala at Kuno National Park.

development marks an important step in India’s wildlife conservation efforts.

After the new births, the
number of cubs born and surviving in India has reached 33.

These cubs form the tenth
successful cheetah litter born in the country.
¨ The latest births have increased India’s total cheetah population to 53.
