Shaikha Lake Declared India’s 99th Ramsar Site

  •       Shaikha Lake Bird Sanctuary, located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, has been declared India’s 99th Ramsar site.
  •       This marks another significant step in wetland conservation efforts in the country.
  •       With this addition, Uttar Pradesh now has 12 Ramsar sites, the highest among all Indian states.
