¨ National School Games is being hosted by
Arunachal Pradesh for the first time.
¨ This marks a milestone in the 71-year history
of the School Games Federation of India.
¨ The Chief Minister noted the state’s progress
in school-level sports.
¨ Arunachal Pradesh has been affiliated with
the School Games Federation of India since 2008–09.
¨ Since then, the state has made strong strides
in promoting sports among students.
¨ Khandu emphasized the importance of hosting
the 69th National School Games in Itanagar.

it aligns with the state’s mission to become a leading sports hub in the
Northeast.
