A book titled Chalice of Ambrosia: Ram Janmabhoomi-Challenge and
Response launched by Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan in New Delhi on 20
January 2026.
¨ Surendra Kumar Pachauri, a former Secretary
to the Government of India is the author of the book.
¨ The Vice President praised the author and
said that Shri Pachauri has successfully brought out the essence of the Ram
Janmabhoomi movement without sensationalism or distortion.
¨ Vice President recalled the Dhwaja-rohan
ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir on 25 November 2025.
¨ The Vice President stated that the Ram Mandir
in Ayodhya represents a landmark phase in India’s civilisational history.
¨ He said the event symbolised the convergence
of faith, law and democracy with dignity.
¨
He noted that the Supreme Court’s 2019 verdict addressed the hopes of
millions of people.
