an integrated dairy project at Howrah Food Park, Sankrail (Howrah district),

The project will include
the world's largest curd manufacturing facility.

The foundation stone was
laid at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, New Town, Kolkata.

The project involves an
investment of around ₹700 crore.
¨
Once fully operational,
the plant will have a milk processing capacity of 30 lakh litres per day.

It will produce 1,000
metric tonnes of curd and other cultured dairy products per day.

The facility will
function as a multi-product dairy plant, producing curd, paneer, ghee, sweets,
flavoured milk, and ice cream.

The integrated dairy
plant will combine milk reception, pasteurisation, processing, packaging, and
cold-chain management within a single facility.
