Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the Atal Arogya Lab in the Bastar region
with the aim of expanding free diagnostic health services, particularly in
remote and formerly Naxal-affected areas.

Launch: The Atal Arogya
Lab was inaugurated in Sukma, located in the Bastar region, marking a
significant step toward strengthening health infrastructure in rural and tribal
areas.

Under this program,
citizens will be provided with 133 types of diagnostic tests free of cost at
government health institutions.
¨
Partner: This program is
being implemented in collaboration with HLL Lifecare Limited.
¨
Objective: The primary
objective is to ensure the early detection of diseases, prompt treatment, and
equitable access to health services—especially in the remote and
underprivileged regions of the state.
¨
Coverage: This initiative
will be operational across 1,046 government health institutions throughout the
state, including District Hospitals, Community Health Centers (CHCs), and
Primary Health Centers (PHCs).
¨
The scheme incorporates a
fully digital system wherein diagnostic reports will be sent directly to
patients via SMS and WhatsApp.
