¨     Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the Atal Arogya Lab in the Bastar region with the aim of expanding free diagnostic health services, particularly in remote and formerly Naxal-affected areas.

¨     Launch: The Atal Arogya Lab was inaugurated in Sukma, located in the Bastar region, marking a significant step toward strengthening health infrastructure in rural and tribal areas.
¨     Under this program, citizens will be provided with 133 types of diagnostic tests free of cost at government health institutions.
¨     Partner: This program is being implemented in collaboration with HLL Lifecare Limited.
¨     Objective: The primary objective is to ensure the early detection of diseases, prompt treatment, and equitable access to health services—especially in the remote and underprivileged regions of the state.
¨     Coverage: This initiative will be operational across 1,046 government health institutions throughout the state, including District Hospitals, Community Health Centers (CHCs), and Primary Health Centers (PHCs).
¨     The scheme incorporates a fully digital system wherein diagnostic reports will be sent directly to patients via SMS and WhatsApp.
