DRDO Successfully Conducts Flight Test of Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted the flight test of the Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket (LRGR) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Odisha. The trial was carried out to validate the rocket's minimum operational range of 60 km, as specified by the Indian Army. The rocket successfully met all mission objectives, demonstrating high accuracy, reliability, and precision strike capability.

Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket (LRGR)

¨     The Pinaka LRGR is an advanced guided version of the indigenous Pinaka Multi-Barrel Rocket Launcher (MBRL) system.

¨     It has been developed by DRDO for the Indian Army.
