Etor Gidi Festival Celebrated by Adi Community

¨  Etor Gidi is a traditional agricultural festival of the Adi community of Arunachal Pradesh.

¨   The festival is celebrated at the beginning of the agricultural season, usually in mid-May.

¨  It is associated with agricultural rituals, community participation, and village-level customs.

¨     The Adi are one of the major indigenous tribes of Arunachal Pradesh.

¨     Community gatherings are held in Dere or Musup.

¨     Dere or Musup is the traditional community hall or dormitory of the Adi tribe.
