place from 24 June to 25 July 2027.

teams will participate.

The opening match will be
played on 24 June 2027.

The 2027 edition will be
the 10th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The 32-team format will
be used for the second and final time before expansion.

From 2031, the FIFA
Women’s World Cup will expand to 48 teams.

Each host city will stage at least 7 matches.Each host
city will also host at least one knockout-stage match.Maracanã Stadium in Rio
de Janeiro will host both the opening match and the final.The third-place
play-off will be held in São Paulo.The quarter-finals will be played in Belo
Horizonte, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.The semi-finals will be held
in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador
will host matches up to the Round of 16.The FIFA Women’s World Cup began in
1991.The tournament is organised by FIFA (International Federation of
Association Football).Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro is one of the world’s
most famous football stadiums.
