First woman officer inducted
into the Airports Authority of India Board

The first woman officer
has been inducted into the Airports Authority of India board.

History was made in the
Indian aviation sector when Nivedita Dubey assumed charge as Member (Human
Resources) of the Airports Authority of India.

With this appointment,
she became the first woman officer to join the AAI board, a significant
achievement.

The post of Member (Human
Resources) is considered the second highest position in the organizational
structure of AAI.
¨
Nivedita Dubey is a
resident of Prayagraj and completed her early education from St. Mary's Convent
School.
¨
She studied science at
Allahabad University and later obtained a postgraduate degree in management
from MONIRBA.
¨
Her professional journey
at AAI began in 1995 as a management trainee.
¨
The Airports Authority of
India was established on April 1, 1995, by an Act of Parliament.
¨
It was formed through the
merger of the National Airports Authority and the International Airports
Authority of India.
