First woman officer inducted into the Airports Authority of India Board

¨     The first woman officer has been inducted into the Airports Authority of India board.

¨     History was made in the Indian aviation sector when Nivedita Dubey assumed charge as Member (Human Resources) of the Airports Authority of India.

¨     ​​With this appointment, she became the first woman officer to join the AAI board, a significant achievement.

¨     The post of Member (Human Resources) is considered the second highest position in the organizational structure of AAI.

¨     Nivedita Dubey is a resident of Prayagraj and completed her early education from St. Mary's Convent School.

¨     She studied science at Allahabad University and later obtained a postgraduate degree in management from MONIRBA.

¨     Her professional journey at AAI began in 1995 as a management trainee.

¨     The Airports Authority of India was established on April 1, 1995, by an Act of Parliament.

¨     It was formed through the merger of the National Airports Authority and the International Airports Authority of India.
