Global Skills Challenge Australia 2026

¨     Global Skills Challenge Australia 2026 was held from 23 to 29 June 2026.

¨     India won five medals at the competition—three gold, one silver, and one bronze.

¨     The event served as a preparatory competition for the 48th WorldSkills Competition to be held in Shanghai later in 2026.

¨     The Global Skills Challenge is an international skills competition associated with the WorldSkills movement.

¨     The 2026 edition featured nearly 600 participants, including competitors, experts, translators, and officials from 16 WorldSkills member nations.

¨     Pavan Bhadravati Suresha (Karnataka) won the gold medal in Additive Manufacturing.

¨     Mausam Kumar Giri (Bihar) won the gold medal in Cloud Computing.

¨     Vishnupriya Sunil (Delhi) won the gold medal in Health and Social Care.

¨     Harsh Ramesh Pawar (Maharashtra) won the silver medal in 3D Digital Game Art.

¨     Muskan (Haryana) won the bronze medal in Painting and Decorating.

¨     The 48th WorldSkills Competition will be held in Shanghai later in 2026.

¨     WorldSkills Competitions are international vocational skills contests covering trade and technology-based occupations.
