Sonowal launched 20 projects worth ₹1,500 crore at New Mangalore Port.

These projects were
launched as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the New Mangalore Port
Authority in Mangaluru.

He highlighted that
modernization and digitalization initiatives have significantly increased the
port's capacity.

Cargo handling at New
Mangalore Port has increased from 90,000 tons to 46 million tons.

Minister Prahlad Joshi emphasized India's emergence as the world's fourth
largest economy.

New Mangalore Port is an
all-weather port located at Panambur, Mangalore, Karnataka. It is the deepest
inland harbour on the west coast.
