Indian Army developed two
AI-based digital systems in 2026 named Kautilya and Q-FORCE.
¨
These systems aim to
strengthen command intelligence, logistics management, and data-driven military
operations.
¨
Kautilya is an AI-powered
command intelligence platform.
¨
It was launched during
21–25 May 2026.
¨
It uses AI-enabled
dashboards and Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based interfaces.
¨
It processes data related
to personnel, weapons, equipment, training, logistics, rations, and operational
readiness.
¨
It supports tablet-based
data entry.
¨
It acts as an AI co-pilot
for administrative and operational tasks.
¨
Q-FORCE is an integrated
digital application for logistics and sustainment management.
¨
It was launched around
22–25 May 2026.
¨
It is designed to
streamline inventory management, supply chain management, and maintenance
operations.
¨
It can be used across
different terrains and operational conditions.
¨
It integrates multiple
logistics and inventory platforms into a single system.
¨
The Indian Army described
these platforms as part of its broader shift toward AI and data-centric warfare
systems.
¨
The Army declared 2026 as
the “Year of Networking and Data Centricity.”
¨
The Army aims to achieve
full AI integration in military operations by 2027.
¨ AI technologies were also used during Operation Sindoor.
¨ Under Project Sanjay, 23 AI applications, including ECAS and Trinetra, were deployed.
