• ¨   Indian gymnast Ariha Pangambam won India’s first senior gold medal in the individual women’s category at the 2026 Asian Aerobic Gymnastics Championships.

    ¨     The championship was held from 4 to 7 August 2026 in Tagaytay City, Philippines.

    ¨     The event was held under the sanction of the Asian Gymnastics Union.

    ¨     Ariha Pangambam is from Imphal, Manipur.

    ¨     She won the final with a score of 19.100 points.

    ¨     Her score included 8.650 in Artistry, 7.600 in Execution, and 2.850 in Difficulty.

    ¨     The 2026 Asian Championships brought together more than 400 athletes and officials from 11 countries.

    ¨     Aerobic gymnastics involves high-intensity aerobic movements along with flexibility, strength, and coordination.
