joined under the third round of the Production-Linked Incentive Scheme 1.2.

said PLI 1.2 aims to build a resilient and globally competitive specialty steel
sector.
¨ The scheme supports the
Make in India initiative. It also promotes the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision.
¨ PLI 1.2 encourages domestic production of advanced and strategic steel products.
¨ The scheme helps reduce dependency on imports. It also conserves foreign exchange.
