¨     The National Productivity Council (NPC) has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) to function as an Environmental Audit Designated Agency (EADA).

¨  This agreement was signed under the Environment Audit Rules, 2025. Under this announcement, made on March 20, 2026, the NPC has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing India's environmental audit system.
