Noida International Airport appointed Neetu Sharma as Interim CEO

¨     Noida International Airport appointed Neetu Sharma as Interim CEO.

¨     The appointment followed directions from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).

¨     As per BCAS rules, the CEO of any airport in India must be an Indian citizen.

¨     This led to a restructuring of the top management.

¨     Neetu Sharma had been serving as CFO since October 2021.

¨     She has taken charge as Interim CEO with immediate effect.

¨     She will continue until a permanent CEO is appointed.

¨     Former CEO Christoph Schnellmann (Swiss national) held the position since August 2020.

¨     He will now serve as Executive Vice Chairman on the Board.

¨     In his new role, he will contribute to the airport’s strategic development and expansion.
