development projects worth over ₹47,600 crore in Odisha.

The event was held at
Rairangpur.

The projects cover
energy, transport, healthcare, irrigation, education, tourism, and industrial
infrastructure.

The foundation stone was
laid for the 600 MW Upper Indravati Pumped Storage Project.
¨
The Stage-II expansion of
the IB Thermal Power Station includes two additional 660 MW units.
¨
The Bharat Coal
Gasification and Chemicals Limited project at Lakhanpur, Jharsuguda district,
involves an investment of around ₹25,000 crore.

The project focuses on
coal gasification and chemical production.
¨
The Prime Minister
dedicated two railway multi-tracking projects worth over ₹732 crore to the
nation.
¨ The projects include the Jakhapura–Jajpur Keonjhar Road–Baitarani Road section and the Hindol Road–Meramandali section.
¨ These projects will enhance freight movement, rail network capacity, regional connectivity, and industrial development.
