    ¨     15 institutions declined in the rankings.

    ¨     2 Indian institutions entered the QS rankings for the first time.

    ¨     18 Indian institutions achieved their best-ever QS positions in the 2027 edition.

    ¨     IIT Bombay ranked 134th globally.

    ¨     IIT Madras ranked 170th.

    ¨     IIT Kharagpur ranked 205th.

    ¨     IISc Bengaluru and IIT Kanpur were jointly ranked 221st.

    ¨     The University of Delhi ranked 322nd and remained India’s highest-ranked non-STEM institution.
