(RBI) has launched a nationwide capacity-building programme called “Mission
SAKSHAM” for Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs).
¨ The initiative aims to
improve governance, resilience, and professional standards in the cooperative
banking sector.

It is designed as a
mission-mode exercise to modernise cooperative banking while preserving its
community-focused structure.
¨
The programme will
include both physical and digital training modules across India.
¨
It will cover around 1.4
lakh participants nationwide.
