tracker dog Babita.

BSF’s tracker dog Babita was honoured for
her exemplary service and bravery.
¨
The award was presented during a national
ceremony held in Hyderabad.
¨
Babita also received a medal and a
commendation certificate. She is stationed in the Amritsar Sector of Punjab.
¨
In September 2025, she played a major role
in a crucial anti-smuggling operation.
¨ Using
her sharp tracking skills, Babita guided BSF personnel to a suspicious residence.
This led to the capture of three smugglers.
