Three-day
Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2025 concluded in New Delhi.
¨ It was conducted by the Indian Navy from
October 28 to 30, 2025.
¨ The dialogue was themed ‘Promoting Holistic
Maritime Security and Growth: Regional Capacity-Building and Capability-Enhancement.’
¨ Representatives from over thirty countries in
and beyond the Indo-Pacific attended the dialogue.
¨ A session on the Blue Economy and seabed
infrastructure highlighted challenges in protecting underwater assets.
¨ Discussions focused on the India-Middle
East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC) and enhanced ASEAN-India cooperation.
¨ A publication titled ‘Maritime Perspectives:
The Blue Economy and Resilience’ was released by National Maritime Foundation
(NMF).
¨ Sanjeev Sanyal, member of the Economic
Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, released the book ‘Operationalising
Project MAUSAM’ by NMF.
¨ IPRD-2025 offered valuable insights for
policymakers and practitioners.
¨
The
dialogue explored ways to foster regional maritime collaboration and formulate
new multilateral initiatives.
